The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee stated that two Sullivan Jail escapees died after a multi-jurisdictional pursuit ended with their vehicle being disabled in Wilmington on Monday. The cause of death is not yet disclosed. Johnny Brown, the third man from the prison breakout group, is still at large.
Carr and Sarver Had Committed a Robbery Prior to the Pursuit
According to the authorities, the two fugitives were involved in a robbery at a convenience store in North Carolina. It is not yet known if Johnny Brown, the third fugitive, was with them.
The Fugitives Had Lengthy Criminal Records
Carr was in prison on charges of second-degree murder of his wife and vandalism. Sarver had auto theft, identity theft, drug paraphernalia, and gun possession in his sheet.
The sheriff’s office stated that the third fugitive, Brown, is dangerous and that he was in jail on several charges, including harassment, domestic violence, and aggravated stalking.
