Two young females and one male were found dead Tuesday in a home in a rural region 25 miles northeast of Houston. Police stated that a firearm was found on the scene and that they suspect that it was a double murder and suicide.
It appears that the young male took his own life after killing two female victims
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the bodies were discovered Tuesday afternoon by a relative who lives next door. Gonzales did not divulge the victims’ age, but he disclosed that the officers had found a firearm on the scene, which leads them to believe that it was a double murder and a suicide. So far, the evidence shows that the male took his own life after killing two female victims. Teen suicide statistics also show tat boys are more prone to committing these acts.
Police Are Trying to Determine the Motive and Connection
The small rural community of Crosby, Texas, is shaken to the core by this tragic event. Police are trying to determine a motive and the connections between the three victims.
The homeowner was away when the tragedy happened, and it is unclear if the firearm was his and if the teens found it in the house. This is very probable since, on average, 88.8 out of 100 Americans own a gun.
