Young Dolph walked into Makeda’s Butter Cookies bakery when an unknown person drove up and shot him, employees say. This was not the first shooting incident involving the famous rapper.
The Police Have No Suspects Yet
The Memphis Police Department officers responded to the scene of a shooting around 12:24 p.m. local time, where they found a male victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The detectives have not yet identified a suspect.
The police department posted a statement on Twitter saying that Young Dolph’s murder is another example of senseless gun violence and expressed its condolences.
Young Dolph Was Involved in Two Shooting Incidents in 2017
In February 2017, his SUV came under fire in Charlotte, NC, which prompted him to bulletproof his car. In September of the same year, he was shot and wounded after fighting three men outside Memphis’ Loews Hollywood hotel.
